Unlike traditional ride-hailing where the app sets the price, Dartt lets drivers bid for rides. Passengers see every offer — price, rating, car, and ETA — and choose the one they prefer. This creates genuine price competition that benefits riders.

Dartt never applies surge multipliers. While busy times may see slightly higher bids due to supply and demand, passengers never face the 2-3x price spikes common on other platforms. The market — not an algorithm — sets the price.

Dartt drivers keep 90% of every fare, compared to the 70-75% typical on major platforms. There are no weekly fees, no vehicle rental requirements, and no minimum hours. Drivers are genuinely independent.
Local-first approach
Dartt launched in Bath rather than London because we believe ridesharing works best when it's built by people who know the city. Every driver will hold a valid B&NES private hire licence, and our team is based locally.
Comprehensive safety
Safety features include SOS emergency alerts, live trip sharing, route deviation monitoring, Enhanced DBS checks for all drivers, and real-time fraud detection. Every feature is standard — not a paid add-on.
