Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 24 March 2026

1. Our Commitment

Dartt Technologies Ltd is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

2. Conformance Target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

3. Measures Taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with appropriate landmarks (header, nav, main, footer)
  • Skip-to-content link on every page for keyboard navigation
  • ARIA attributes on interactive elements (menus, accordions, dialogs)
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios for all text content
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation including focus management
  • Reduced motion support via prefers-reduced-motion media query
  • Meaningful link text and image alternatives
  • Responsive design that works across screen sizes and orientations

4. Known Limitations

  • Phone mockup animation: The animated phone on the homepage is decorative. Bid card animations and the countdown timer are visual only and do not convey essential information.
  • SVG map on Bath page: The coverage area map is a simplified illustration. All location information is also provided as text.

5. Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Dartt website and mobile app. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us:

  • Email: accessibility@dartt.uk
  • General support: support@dartt.uk

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 working days.

6. Enforcement Procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility concern, you can contact the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), the body responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 in England, Scotland, and Wales.

7. Technical Specifications

This website is built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver)
  • Screen magnification software
  • Voice recognition software
